It’s a pleasure to share the formal announcement of a new section of Marketing Land that we’re calling the CMO Zone, along with several new regular features that are written for and about C-level marketers.

CMO Zone is our go-to resource for marketing executives, those who work with them, or anyone interested in broader marketing strategy. We’ll be publishing news and features that can help generate marketing ideas, guide marketing strategies and inform marketing budget decisions.

In addition to important news articles for marketing decision-makers, the CMO Zone will feature four regular features that will be published on a rotating basis each week.

1.) What I Wish My CMO Knew: Marketing practitioners share candid insights about what their superiors should know … and what they are missing. Due to their candid nature, these articles will be published anonymously when appropriate.

Our first article in this series was just published this morning: What I Wish My CMO Knew About Brand Identity.

2.) A CMO’s View: This is the Chief Marketing Officer’s turn to speak. We’re inviting CMOs, marketing VPs and executives to give their frank opinions on a variety of aspects of digital marketing, one topic at a time.

3.) What CMOs Should Know: Written by industry experts and by Marketing Land staff, this column tells CMOs what’s critical to know about the latest digital marketing developments.

4.) Get To Know: This is a series of profiles of CMOs and top marketing executives from some of the world’s leading brands. This series is shifting from weekly to monthly to make room for the three series mentioned above. In Get To Know, we’ve already featured profiles of CMOs from major brands such as Avon, Campbell’s Soup, eBay, Estee Lauder, Jack Daniel’s, Taco Bell and others.

These series complement the existing news that our editorial team publishes regularly to CMO Zone, as well as ongoing columns including Creative Of The Day, which offers a daily look at smart and unique online marketing campaigns around the world.

We invite you to visit CMO Zone regularly and enjoy all of the news and features it offers.
