Google continues to build out solutions for app marketers. The latest move is to provide the audience and interest data and remarketing capabilities already available to web marketers in Google Analytics.
The new in-app audience demographics reporting shows app marketers how different user groups interact with their apps. And just like for web users, the in-app audience demographics and behavior data can now be used to create lists for in-app remarketing campaigns.
A new process makes creating remarketing lists for both the web and apps easier with a new audience builder work flow that includes the ability to rename lists.
Marketers can also import audience definitions that have already been set up by other users by importing the Engagement Pack of Core Remarketing Lists into their accounts from the Google Analytics Solutions Gallery.
You’ll notice several updates that make creating and managing segments faster within Analytics including an “Add Segment” button in reports and the ability to share, edit, copy, remove or remarket to a segment with one click.
Finally, a new Display Targeting report available in the Acquisition section provides AdWords campaign performance data for all your remarketing lists in one place.
