MetrixLab launches new emotion-measurement tool 
Avaya provides an Emotional Intensity Score and covers eight emotional domains relevant to marketing activities. The tool is an add-on module to the company’s existing research solutions portfolio.

Sublime expands mobile ad solutions
The company will now offer full-funnel marketing capabilities across both desktop and mobile environments. New mobile formats include both “sticky” and in-article ad units.

Hypetap unveils AI influencer tool
The tool uses Amazon’s Rekognition, its image recognition service, to help brands identify objects, people, scenes and activities in social media content.

Conversica launches AI assistant
The Conversica AI Customer Success Assistant helps companies automate and personalize customer conversations. It delivers automation of human-like interactions over email and SMS text at scale, which the company says improves post-sale customer experiences while reducing the administrative task load.

Martech Movers

Linh C. Ho joins conDati as chief marketing officer. Ho has been an adviser to conDati since its inception and most recently served as chief of staff to the CMO at SAP Concur.

Future plc taps Gabrielle Kessler as its new VP of Experiential. Kessler most recently served as the creative director at The Visionary Group.

Lara Balazs joins Intuit as its new CMO. Balazs worked at Visa before a recent stint leading marketing strategy and operations for Amazon Prime.

LoopMe appoints Jason Baadsgaard to general manager, North America. Baadsgaard was previously at Eyeview as chief revenue officer. The company also named Mel Bessaha as SVP of sales North America.

Seismic names John McCauley as its first CFO. McCauley was previously at ServiceNow.

Sizmek appoints Patrick Bevilacqua as head of global customer success. Bevilaqua was most recently at MDC Media Partners agency Assembly, where he served as the senior vice president of programmatic and data strategy.

Albert brings on Mark Kirschner its new CMO. Kirschner joins Albert after serving as CMO of eBay Enterprise and The Trade Desk, and Vice CMO of Global Marketing at Rakuten.

Mobiquity adds Brian Stoller as CMO. Stoller spent nearly two decades at WPP/GroupM’s Mindshare and Ogilvy as head of digital strategy for global clients.
