GeoEdge adds real-time blocking
The ad security and verification solutions provider upgraded its user protection service to include real-time blocking. The feature monitors impressions to eliminate malicious ads before an impression is served.
WFA releases DPA template
The World Federation of Advertisers (WFA), along with BVA and Digital Decisions, has created a data protection agreement template for advertisers. DPAs are required between data controllers and data processors under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
TVadSync partners with Unacast
TVadSync will now use Unacast’s transparent location data to measure foot traffic to store locations, providing attribution measurement to marketers.
Clari partners with Marketo
With the Clari Marketo Connector, sales representatives can see when prospects open marketing emails, download content or register for webinars. They can view this marketing engagement data alongside other prospect activity signals captured in Clari to get broader context around how deals are progressing.
Authoritas and Linkdex team up
The competing SEO and content marketing platforms are joining forces to create a unified platform. The combined business will be known as Authoritas.
Performance Horizon changes its name
The partner software company will now be known as Partnerize. The company is also in the process of rolling out 25 enhancements that it says will create more intuitive workflows, improved navigation, simpler payment and conversion tracking and more.
Exponential unveils new video ad solution
The digital advertising company’s video advertising solution, VDX Connect, measures performance metrics through multitouch, last-view or other performance attribution models. VDX Connect also includes features that are specifically designed for the needs of marketers in key vertical industries like travel, finance, fast food and auto.
Miller Heiman launches analytics platform
Scout is a sales analytics platform that uses the company’s Strategic Selling with Perspective sales methodology and leverages data and analytics to predict the most successful seller actions. The subscription-based software uses a strategic analysis tool for managing complex sales in a cloud-based, mobile-first platform.
IZEA to acquire TapInfluence
The online marketplace of influential content creators said it would buy TapInfluence. The acquisition will augment IZEA’s software-as-a-service (SaaS) customer base and provide additional technology capabilities.
Martech Movers
Sitecore adds Paige O’Neill as chief marketing officer. O’Neill most recently served as chief marketing officer for Prysm.
Innovid promotes Stephanie Geno to senior vice president of marketing. Geno previously served as vice president of brand solutions.
Jen Sargent joins Wondery as chief operating officer. Sargent is the co-founder of entertainment site HitFix and former president of Uproxx Media Group.
Publishers Clearing House appoints Andy Goldberg to chairman of the board of directors. Goldberg, who has been with the company for 35 years, will take over duties from longtime chairman and former chief executive Robin Smith. Goldberg will continue to serve as president and chief executive officer in addition to his new role as chairman.
Eyeota names Jamie Jager as director of agency sales. Jager previously worked at advertising and digital media companies such as Drawbridge and RadiumOne.
BigCommerce adds Lisa Pearson as chief marketing officer. Pearson was previously chief executive officer of Umbel.
JLL names Vinay Goel its chief digital product officer. Goel served in global product leadership roles at Google, including Google Maps, Google Apps and Google Station. He also held roles at Oracle, Intel, CheckPoint Software and Silicon Valley startups.
