[PODCAST] Marketing Land Live #25: Google’s interstitial penalty, AdSense limits removed & more
As Marketing Land Live switches to an audio-only podcast, we talk about Google's plans to penalize certain mobile interstitials, a change of heart from AdSense and Amazon's latest expansion.
Google doesn’t often pre-announces penalties, but it did that recently with the news that “intrusive interstitials” on mobile devices will earn a ranking penalty beginning in early 2017. Not all interstitials are considered “intrusive,” and we talk about what Google is likely to penalize in the latest episode of Marketing Land Live. Other topics covered include AdSense’s removal of the three ads-per-page limit, the launch of Amazon Vehicles and more.
Marketing Land’s Ginny Marvin and Barry Schwartz joined me for this episode, which runs about 31 minutes. You can listen below, and be sure to scroll down for this week’s Show Notes, with links to the stories we talked about.
This is show #25, but it’s also our first audio-only podcast. With the recent Blab video platform shutdown, we’ve decided to convert Marketing Land Live to a podcast, so we invite you to subscribe via iTunes or Google Play Podcasts.
