While LinkedIn is the go-to social destination for professionals, it has lacked one thing that most users crave: conversations. A new messaging experience released by LinkedIn makes conversing with your connections a breeze. The new messaging feature, which was built from scratch, allows for one-to-one conversations, as well as group chat.

The biggest change to LinkedIn messaging is the true “chat” experience. Instead of messaging, users will engage in lighter conversations. Of course, there is no better way to communicate than with either an emoji, a sticker or a GIF, so LinkedIn added support for all those formats, as well.

Maybe the most powerful aspect of the new messaging is the group chat. Users can message groups of like-minded folks in a true conversation format:

This new messaging experience is now live for English-speaking members around the world on the Desktop, iOS and Android.  For more information, see the official release from LinkedIn.
