Facebook is redesigning its mobile Pages with a new set of features aimed at helping local companies drive more business via their Facebook Pages.

For the redesigned mobile Pages, Facebook is giving more prominence to Recommendations and including Stories that can be viewed by tapping on the business Pages profile photo. Businesses will be able to feature information on their Pages, like hours of service or price ranges, and highlight recent Events and Offers.

Page owners will also have access to a new suite of “action” button templates to add to their mobile Facebook Pages. Templates for the action buttons include options like making a salon appointment or restaurant reservation, ordering a pizza, sending a message to the business or writing a recommendation directly on the business’s Facebook Page.
