Improved efficiencies in marketing and design are rooted in understanding human behavior and motivation, say marketer-scientist contributors Caitlin Pequignot and Tommy Hung.
About Caitlin Pequignot & Tommy Hung
Caitlin Pequignot graduated from Yale University with a B.S. in Molecular Biology. After working in a neurobiology lab throughout her undergraduate career and presenting her research at Neuroscience 2014, she decided to apply her love of data analytics in the lab to business, completing her MBA at Rollins College. She now works at PRPL as a marketing strategist, applying her love of the scientific process to creating measurable digital strategy for clients. Her co-author, Tommy Hung graduated from the University of Florida and UC Berkeley with degrees in neuropsychology, moving later into the tech industry to better suit his interest in working at the intersection of behavior, technology, and design. Fascinated by how environments modify human behavior, Tommy started as a user experience researcher at Code School and is now a UX strategist at PRPL.
