AdSense publishers earning more than $25/week will now have the option to contact Google by email when they have problems or questions, according to an FAQ item discovered in a WebmasterWorld forum thread.

These publishers can request email support by filling out contact forms that will appear for them in the Help Center. Smaller publishers will still need to rely on forums and the Help Center.

The new investment in support brings to mind when Google announced last year it would let all AdWords advertisers call a phone number for free support. After that announcement, the company tested providing phone support for some AdSense publishers, but, for now, the email support seems to be the most personal service available to publishers that aren’t huge, but aren’t tiny, either.

It’s not clear what level of service will be available to those publishers via email, but posters on WebmasterWorld indicate that some are getting replies in less than a day, after being promised a response within 48 hours.
