Vine is calling the updates “Sessions” and “Time Travel.”

Sessions is the one that lets users save any video and return to it later. You can do this with up to 10 videos at once via a new button in the lower right corner of the app’s UI.

I’m thinking that feature alone should open the doors to a lot of creativity from brands and marketers.

Time Travel is a bit more practical, but no less welcome. It lets users “remove, reorganize or replace any shot within a post before you share it.” So if you mess up the video halfway through, no need to go back and start all over. (Instagram video also lets users edit videos before posting.)

The app update is being pushed out today on both iOS and Android.
