A new Facebook feature that will save Advertisers time and headaches has been released according to aimClear. Merry Morud discovered the new feature that allows advertisers to create a post on the fly directly from within the Ad Tool. Previously advertisers could only send traffic to a post that currently existed.  This was a bear for many SMBs as it was a two-step process to promote a page post.  Not anymore.

Users can now go to the “Promote Page Posts” and view a new “Create New Page Post” button — or choose from an existing post.

Aim Clear FB 1

If the new Page post is selected, the admin can create a post directly within the Ad Tool – no flipping back and forth required:

Aim Clear FB 2

Once the advertiser hits “post” the Page will post and the advertising can be set.

An additional Facebook tweak that aimClear uncovered is smarter Sponsored Story targeting. Now Advertisers can target those who’ve liked a page, liked Page posts, commented on Page posts or have checked-in. This allows for greater flexibility in targeting and can be a big boon for local brick and mortar shops.

Better Sponsored Story Tracking
