The world’s most popular photography app, Instagram, is coming to Android. The part photography/part social networking app has been iOS only until the Android version was previewed back at SXSW ’12 earlier this month. Today’s announcement came from Instagram’s official Twitter account:

Upon clicking on the link users are taken to a vivid landing page where users are asked the question:
“Want to be the first in line for Instagram for Android?”
Upon submitting an email address, users click a notify button, no timetable for the release is provided.
To “get in line” for Instagram on Android, head over to the official sign-up page.
