If you’ve looked at your Facebook feed recently, something new may be stuck to comments in your feed. That’s right, the massive stickers from Facebook messaging are now eligible to be posted as a comment on a user’s timeline, in a group post or in an event post.

These big bold images come in different sets that users can download for quick insertion into a comment. Stickers were previously relegated to messaging between friends, now they’ve gone public.

Stickers

The interesting part for marketers is that these stickers can be branded. The first branded stickers arrived last summer with a Despicable Me 2 sticker pack, and more have arrived since then. Current branded sticker packs include the likes of the Expendables, Candy Crush, Cut The Rope and more. With the new increased visibility of stickers and the instant visibility that can come with a good pack, look for more brands to get in the game.

Branded-Stickers

Stickers are now available to all users across both web and mobile devices. This will be an interesting element to watch for those marketers with big budgets that are looking for branding & buzz.
