AI-powered martech news and releases: February 20
While vendors keep pushing agentic AI, reliability concerns keep customers pushing back.
Agentic AI — which is a couple of apps working together and not a true AI agent — is hot with vendors. Salesforce, Hubspot, OpenAI and Microsoft are a few of the companies pushing them on customers. Unfortunately, customers may not be buying it.
From The Wall Street Journal:
“While 61% of attendees at the summit said they’re experimenting with AI agents, 21% said they’re not using them at all. And, their most pressing concern around the technology is a lack of reliability, the poll found. That’s in stark contrast to the vendors selling them, who say it will be too late for businesses to wait for all of the technology’s kinks to be ironed out.”
To be clear, this is a poll of people at The WSJ CIO Network Summit, “which attracts the country’s top information-technology leaders.” Not exactly a representative group. However, although the numbers aren’t reliable per se, the sentiment jibes with what I’ve been hearing.
“We’ll fix it later” isn’t going to get businesses to open their wallets.

- Inuvo launched the IntentKey Platform, an AI agent designed for audience modeling using its proprietary IntentKey AI. The platform allows users to define and adjust audience targets instantly, update models every five minutes based on trends activate audience models through any demand-side platform (DSP) or as a managed service. It provides AI-generated demographic insights, including age, gender, income, education location.
- Adobe released the Firefly application, which generates images, vectors videos using its new Firefly Video Model, now in public beta. The Firefly Video Model supports video creation and enhancement through Generate Video (beta) and Generative Extend (beta) features integrated into Adobe Premiere Pro. The model creates commercially safe, production-ready video content.
- Lucidworks announced the release of Commerce Studio and Analytics Studio to enhance merchandising and analytics for enterprise search and discovery. Both platforms use predictive AI and real-time insights and will be available as fast-start packages for B2B and B2C enterprises. Commerce Studio’s Intelligent Merchandising Assistant provides real-time recommendations based on anonymized customer search and behavior data. Merchandisers can choose to apply the suggested changes with a single click, retaining full control over the process.
- HIVE Strategy launched MarketingGrader.AI, an AI-driven tool for analyzing a company’s marketing strategy. It reviews content performance, SEO, social media user experience to produce a report with over 500 data points that highlights strengths and suggests improvements. Users receive tailored recommendations based on data from website analytics, competitor analysis, brand sentiment social media performance.
- Semcasting introduced Identity ToolBox, a data discovery platform for marketers. It includes lead generation from website traffic, converting visitors into qualified leads. Users can use detailed demographic, property interest information to enhance their customer data. It offers an 85% match rate for data onboarding and daily performance measurement with the SpotLight Report, showing audience engagement and opportunities for optimization.
- Invoca expanded its Signal AI Studio with new features to simplify AI signal deployment for analyzing phone calls from search and digital ads. The platform feeds offline AI data to marketing tools like Google Ads, Google Analytics Meta Ads Manager to track campaign performance, optimize conversion rates improve ad spend efficiency.
- monday.com announced the general release of monday service, an enterprise service management platform. It features AI-powered ticket resolution using ticket history for knowledge base creation, automatic ticket classification smart ticket routing by type, urgency sentiment. Dashboards provide real-time service trend monitoring and performance insights to aid decision-making.
- Mindmatrix launched BridgeAI, a solution for ecosystem orchestration. It automates partner enablement, sales marketing processes, while offering real-time insights to help optimize channel strategies and support business growth.
- Coveo announced the general availability of its Passage Retrieval API, a retrieval method for generative AI applications built on Coveo’s AI-Relevance Platform. The API is designed to enhance search and relevance for business applications.
- DynamicTracking launched AI Reporting Studio, a platform that aligns compliance, marketing sales by correlating lead data with sales results. The tool provides actionable insights to help organizations improve decision-making and return on investment.
- Cloudinary expanded its generative AI portfolio with AI Vision, a tool that offers control and insight into visual media. Enhancements were also made to Generative Enhance, Fill, Restore Upscale tools, providing developers with advanced image and video editing capabilities.
- Amplitude launched Guides and Surveys, tools for in-product user guidance and feedback collection. These features help teams personalize user engagement, optimize product communications analyze customer feedback alongside product usage data to discover engagement opportunities.
- Warpvideo AI lets users create professional-quality videos using a browser-based interface. It streamlined the production process from ideation to final output, providing tools for creators, marketers, and artists.
- Integral Ad Science expanded global availability for its Content Block List optimization solution for Facebook and Instagram Feed and Reels ads. The solution included Social Optimization, enabling advertisers to pre-screen content and deliver ads to suitable adjacencies. It also offered custom Content Block Lists, allowing advertisers to control content at a more granular level with contextual category options.
- Panjaya.ai introduced Pod Pro, an AI-powered dubbing platform for podcast publishers. Using proprietary BodyTalk technology, it synchronized voice, lip movements, and body gestures to create seamless translations for multilingual audiences.
- Lusha launched AI Recommendations, a tool for generating personalized lists of high-intent sales prospects. The tool used machine learning, behavior insights, and crowd-sourced data to help sales teams target prospects with greater accuracy.
- Lemma released Lemma Phi, an enhanced version of its enterprise-grade CMS for DOOH screen owners. The new version included AI-powered discovery features that improved how screens were matched with demand partners, streamlining DOOH management globally.
