Twitter Officially Launches Ads Companion For Mobile Campaign Management
New tool, unveiled as a test last week, gives advertisers the ability to monitor and adjust campaigns from Twitter iOS and Android apps.
Twitter’s mobile ad management feature, introduced as an experiment last week, is now an official part of the company’s tool set.
Today, Twitter announced the launch of the tool, which it’s calling the Twitter Ads companion. The tool enables advertisers to monitor and adjust campaigns from their iOS and Android apps. Campaigns still must be initiated from the desktop ads dashboard at ads.twitter.com, but the new mobile features give marketers more ways to adjust the dials when they are on the go.
The ads companion provides information about impressions, engagements, spend, cost per engagement and engagement rate, both for the overall account and specific campaigns. Campaigns can be edited, paused and resumed and bids, budgets and schedules can be adjusted from within the tool.
The tool is available globally to all Twitter advertisers and is accessible by clicking the graph icon on Twitter profiles for iPhone 6 and Android users. Users of the iPhone 5 or earlier can find the tool by tapping on the gear icon and selecting Twitter Ads.
