Which social media brands have been naughty and which have been nice this year? Santa might not know, but the folks at Hootsuite have tried to figure it out with some sentiment analysis.

Hootsuite tracked brands in eight industries to figure out which seemed to be getting the most negative mentions — the naughty — and those getting the most positive — the nice.

Among the nice: retailer Crate & Barrel, credit card companies Visa and MasterCard, Mini Cooper and Audi, Renaissance Hotels, Folgers coffee, tech giants Apple and Amazon, along with Friskies and Cottonelle.

Among the naughty: Prada, JP Morgan, General Motors, US Airways, Dasani, Clorox, the New York Times and social media companies Facebook and Twitter.
