YouTube Studio beta on the way with new design, inbox features & way to organize comments
Formerly YouTube Creator Studio, YouTube says it is rebuilding its platform for creators from the ground up.
YouTube is building a new YouTube Creator Studio, “… from the ground up,” starting with a new name.
Now simply YouTube Studio, the desktop platform that helps video creators manage their channels will get a design refresh, new features, a “smart” inbox and a new way to organize comments by topic.
According to the announcement, YouTube Studio’s design will be more refined, with features that have been requested by the creator community. YouTube says the new “smart” inbox will offer suggestions for engaging with fans and collaborating with creators.
Another new feature will allow creators more ways to manage their comments, making it possible to organize by topic.
The announcement didn’t include dates for the launch of YouTube Studio but offered a link for creators to sign up if they wanted to be one of the first to try the beta.
While no dates were given for the new features, YouTube did note that it has expanded Super Chat, the feature that lets creators monetize video comments, to 17 more countries.
