Bud Light, an official sponsor of Super Bowl 50, has dropped its first spot for the big game. The brand’s 30-second “The Bud Light Party Is Coming” teaser ad brings a whole new party to the political arena.

Staring Amy Schumer and Seth Rogen, the spot is a play on this year’s election season, with both Schumer and Rogen wearing election-styled voting pins that read “The Bud Light Party” and dressing as if they were headed to a political event.

“This is more than just a Super Bowl ad,” says Bud Light VP Alexander Lambrecht in a release announcing the brand’s Super Bowl campaign. “It’s a completely new communication of what Bud Light stands for — inclusivity, positivity and fun. The Bud Light Party allows our brand to live in the right now.”

[blockquote cite = “Bud Light Super Bowl 50 Announcement”]Right now, there is nothing more timely or talked about than the presidential election. At a time when debates get heated and “unfriending” is at an all-time high, The Bud Light Party offers something everyone can agree on. A party that invites everyone. A party that knows how to party. A party that isn’t a political party at all.[/blockquote]

Created by Wieden+Kennedy, Bud Light’s campaign will include the new tagline, “Raise One to Right Now.” The campaign’s launch will begin with its Super Bowl ad and continue with national spots and digital creative to be released throughout 2016.
