BMW’s MINI, ever the awesome advocate of brand customization, has launched the MINI Community Car contest. The brand is urging people to “get hands-on and design their dream MINI.”

The contest calls for people to submit their design ideas — basically wraps — for a MINI. A contest website supplies all the details and templates any burgeoning designer would need to create their masterpiece.

All submitted designs will appear on the contest website and a selection of the best designs, including those up-voted by people on the community website, will be displayed at the center of the MINI Space event at BMW Welt in Germany October 25-26.

The work will also travel as a temporary part of the brand’s traveling MINI Exhibition which will also make an appearance at the BMW Museum November 27th through January 31.

Those participating in the contest are encouraged to share their submissions across social media using the hashtag #MINIspace. And, of course, the brand is promoting the contest across its own social channels.
