Twitter Sustains Massive Outage Across Web, Mobile & APIs
You may have issues using Twitter this morning. They are working on fixing a service issue.
When you wake up this morning, you may notice that your Twitter timeline and marketing efforts seem awry. Thanks to a major outage that lasted more than an hour, marketers may see a decreased Twitter ad spend or failed scheduled Tweets.
Some users are currently experiencing problems accessing Twitter. We are aware of the issue and are working towards a resolution.

The problems arose across all Twitter entities, web, mobile and API connections at 3:20 a.m. ET and didn’t return in full until 5:00 a.m. ET. Issues are still being felt this morning, and the Developer Status page is currently showing issues with timelines, search and the Twitter stream:
So all marketers that regularly monitor Twitter ads and traffic should annotate this major irregularity into their reporting.
