Twitter is bringing more visual content to your timeline.
Starting today, Twitter will show previews of Twitter photos and Vine videos along with their tweets. These types of media were previously only appearing as a link inside the tweet. Here’s how it looks in my timeline right now:
Also new to the main timeline are Reply, Retweet and Favorite buttons. (Those were already in the Twitter.com timeline, as I recall, so they may be new only to Twitter’s mobile apps.)
All of this is rolling out today on Twitter’s iPhone and Android apps (look for the update to download), as well as on Twitter.com.
