tumblr-logoBrands and marketers finally have an analytics option to help understand activity and engagement on Tumblr.

It’s called Union Metrics for Tumblr, and it’s the result of a formal partnership between Tumblr and Union Metrics — the same company that offers the TweetReach analytics service for companies using Twitter.

Union Metrics says its new service “can measure activity and engagement for any blog or any topic on Tumblr.” The company has access to the full Tumblr data firehose through Gnip, and offers various dashboards of data such as Blog Summary, Topic Summary and Post Detail.

Union Metrics hasn’t revealed pricing at this point, and the service is still only in the invitation stage right now.
