With a client roster that tops over 25,000, including AT&T, Bloomberg and Bosch, CRM and marketing automation provider Insightly has introduced a new mobile app that combines features for enhanced project management and more secure data.

To match demands of the current remote work environment, the new app offers access to the enterprise-wide dashboards directly from mobile devices to parallel the desktop experience. The new app accomplishes this while featuring increased response speed with the ability to scale to CRM data sets with millions of records with no synchronization required.

“A robust mobile application that puts customer information at the core is critical,” Insightly CEO Anthony Smith said. “Our approach is unique by delivering highly secure mobile access that is fast and equipped to manage large amounts of data.”

Among the features are:

  • Role review. The new mobile app offers a flexible feature where business can set permissions for different roles within the CRM, securely restricting the user’s view to relevant customer records.
  • Web to mobile. All dashboards and views initially created for the web platform now carry across into the new mobile app.

Why we care. A recent Insightly poll showed that nearly two thirds of those surveyed use their mobile device for business and customer management every day. You will continue to see more mobile first platform enhancements as this number increases in 2021 and beyond.
