Video is all the rage, and Instagram has taken note. Today, the company has announced a brand new look for Explore that highlights video channels.

The channels are personalized for each user, inclusive of a new “Videos You Might Like” feed that pulls content from across the entire network (and not just people you follow), based on what you like on the platform. Other channels are hand-curated and feature topics such as comedy and events such as Coachella.

Instagram Explore, now with Video

With the imminent algorithmic feed updates that are coming to Instagram users, adding more personalization without sacrificing user experience in one’s home feed is a great way to give users and Instagram the best of both worlds.

Explore is being updated today in the United States on both iOS and Android, and the rest of the world will be getting the update soon.
