The five winners of our competition, The Stackies: Org Edition, were announced Monday night at the MarTech Conference, now taking place at the Hynes Convention Center in Boston.

For the first time, this conference’s Stackies focused on companies’ “org stack,” or the way they organize and operate in today’s marketing environment.

Entrants were asked to deliver one slide visualizing their organizational arrangement. As a thank you to participants, the Martech Conference contributed $5000 to the non-profit educational organization, Women Who Code.

In previous conferences, The Stackies competition asked for entries visualizing companies’ marketing tech stacks. The Tech Edition of The Stackies will return with the spring ’18 conference in San Jose, California.

The five winners are:

Interestingly, Allocadia also won a Stackie for a tech stack visualization in the spring. Following, you’ll see the slides that visually represent these companies’ organizational structure.

MarTech Conference program chair Scott Brinker pointed out that “orgs are more than their org chart,” particularly since marketing and other technologies are “remaking what is possible.”

He added that the org stacks visually portray something that is frequently discussed — how sales and customer service are coming together with marketing, largely through technology.
