From #PrayForParis to #TheDress & Caitlyn Jenner (fastest to 1 million Twitter followers ever), 2015 was quite a year for social media and Twitter. The annual year in review spotlights the most talked about and influential moments in 2015:

The staple, the most retweeted Tweets of the year had very specific direction this year with four out of the top five tweets pertaining to the band One Direction. @Harry_Styles had the most retweeted Tweet of the year with nearly 3/4 of a million retweets:

The most influential topics of the year range from the absurd White/Gold Black/Blue dress to the unfortunate #PrayForParis & #JeSuisCharlie and to celebration of #LoveWins.
