Freshworks unveils Proximity messaging tools
The suite of new features includes the ability to screen share with real-time audio and video; an integration between Freshchat and Facebook Messenger and OmniChat, which allows chat agents to use Freshchat from any tab in Google Chrome.

Nintex Sign leverages Adobe Sign to bring new native electronic signature capabilities to Nintex partners and customers.

Marieke van de Rakt becomes CEO of Yoast. van de Rakt is taking over the role as her husband, company co-founder Joost de Valk, joins WordPress as its marketing and communication lead. He’ll also continue at Yoast and focus on software development in the role of Chief Product Officer.

CognitiveScale hires ML Maco as chief revenue officer. Maco was recently SVP at HPE.

Todd Silverstein joins Drum Agency as chief media officer. Silverstein was previously head of performance marketing, media director at Edelman.

Dataminr adds Jason Edelboim as chief commercial officer. Edelboim joins Dataminr from Cision, where he last held the role of president, Americas.

Cuebiq appoints Dave Simon as its vice president, programmatic data sales. Simon joins Cuebiq from Oath (now Verizon Media), where he was head of U.S. agency platform sales.

Marcus Startzel joins Whitebox as CEO. Startzel was previously at AppNexus.

PubMatic promotes John Sabella to new chief technology officer. Sabella has been with PubMatic since 2017. Sabella previously worked as CTO at Vungle.
