Social commerce site, Polyvore, is expanding its native ad product offerings to include Promoted Trends.

Promoted Trends give brands and retailers the ability to “drive engagement around the trends that are most important to them, and provide even more style inspiration to Polyvore’s community”.

So if fringe bags or tortoise shell sunglasses are hot, for example, a retailer or brand can feature those products right in the What’s Trending section at the top of Polyvore’s desktop and mobile homepages and at the top of  search results pages. The ads link to a category page featuring the related products.

Italian luxury retailer LUISVIAROMA signed on as the launch partner for the new ad product.
