How do you post to your business or brand Facebook Page?
Although there’s no shortage of third-party services and apps to help Page administrators manage posting to the social network, most are using native Facebook tools, according to social media analytics provider Quintly.
Quintly analyzed 5 million posts made by 110,000 Facebook Pages in July and discovered that Facebook-provided methods were the overwhelming choice, taking all the spots in the top 10 most used apps. Not surprisingly, posting from the desktop was the leading sharing method; although a significant number of pages also are posting with the iOS Page Manager (8.53%) and standard Facebook (8.42%) apps.
Hootsuite, the most-used third-party app, checked in at No. 11, with 3.68% of the Pages sampled using it at least once during the month. (Quintly reported that most pages use a combination of more than one app to post to Pages.) Here’s a chart showing the top third-party methods:
