pinterest-logoPinterest is inviting everyone to follow next month’s New York Fashion Week from their pinterest.com/fashionweek page. With over 80 boards already posted, the image-focused social media platform claims users will get a “behind-the-scenes look” from more than 100 designers, brands and industry insiders.

While users can now start pinning New York Fashion Week photos, product images and beauty tutorials to their own boards, they will also be able watch a television special highlighting Pinterest trends and fashions when the site partners with the Style Network on September 12 at 9:00 p.m. EST.

To launch the Pinterest New York Fashion Week page, the site featured a quick interview with top designer and former Project Runway judge Michael Kors.

“We build boards by the color of the season, featuring fabric patterns and architectural details that inspired the clothes and the accessories,” says Kors, “Pinterest lets me connect with my customers in a visual way, which is so important in the world of fashion.”

This year’s New York Fashion Week takes place September 5th through the 12th. From the Pinterest Fashion Week page, users will see “coming soon” announcements for London, Paris and Milan Fashion Week events as well.
