    Twitter LogoToday the familiar light blue ‘tweet’ and ‘follow’ buttons have been updated and de-saturated. This change has been rolled out for all types and sizes of buttons and are automatically updated if you have the buttons installed. The old tweet buttons displayed both the Tweet button and the tweet count in blue:

    And the new button only features the Twitter logo in color:

    The recently added “follow” buttons previously featured an actual button with the Twitter handle outside of the box and the follower count to the right:

    Now, the full Twitter handle is located inside the button. Instead of simply stating the follower count next to the button in text, the followers now show up in a bubble — just like the Tweet button:

    Again, nothing is required to display the new buttons, they have been automatically updated. See these buttons in action at the top right hand side of the page in our “Get Our News Everywhere!” section.
