HubSpot’s Unbound 2026: The big announcements and updates

Unbound 2026 saw big product announcements on the main stage and other news that flew under the radar. Let’s break it all down for you.

Unbound 2026 was less about brand-new HubSpot features and more about adding power and polish to existing ones.

Most of what was presented on the main stage was welcome evolutions of already powerful features: a rebuilt Marketing Studio, Campaign Agent, and Nurture Agent for marketers; Notetaker with Smart Deal Progression for sales; and Agent Hub as the home for all of it. HubSpot Work is the one that’s completely new (and still in its early days).

Beyond the marquee announcements, some of the most impactful changes never even made it to the main stage. There’s a meeting recording change that’s already live and may require updates to your workflows, a way to cap your marketing contacts, a unified report builder, and a churn risk signal in Buyer Intent.

Speaking of marquee announcements, HubSpot announced new pricing on Oct. 15, 2026, with spending control and more flexibility. That news is covered in a separate article.

Below are the 14 HubSpot updates we think are most worth your time, organized into the big announcements from the Unbound main stage and the additional updates that didn’t get discussed but deserve your attention.

    The big Unbound announcements

Agent Hub: The home for every AI agent you run

What’s new: Agent Hub, which we covered in public beta in July, is now live. It’s the single place to see the agents you’ve built, the workflows from the new workflow builder, anything flagged for attention, and an inbox of every agent run.

The overview is personalized and recommends agents based on how your team works. It also includes your business context, complete with a percentage indicating how much you’ve filled in. Context was a recurring theme at Unbound, and HubSpot shared data indicating that AI operating on poor or missing context performs worse than no AI at all.

    How it helps you
Custom agents are where most of the value is. A few we’ve built for clients or seen work well:

    • A lead qualification agent that checks a record against your ICP and web research, then adds a note explaining why the lead is or isn’t a fit and what to do next.
    • A recommended content agent that suggests what to send after a sales meeting, based on your content library.
    • A territory assignment agent that assigns a territory and rates the lead by how close it is to the nearest clinic, useful for healthcare companies.
    • An email parsing agent that reads incoming lead emails from a shared source and creates and associates the right contacts and deals
    • Churn prevention and customer onboarding plan agents that draft a plan from what you already know about the customer

HubSpot Work: A new AI-first workspace

What’s new: HubSpot Work is a collaborative workspace where you describe for Breeze what you need it builds it: tables, forms, documents, and AI agents scoped to a specific project. While it’s connected to your CRM data, one thing to know going in is that projects and tasks inside HubSpot Work are not the same as HubSpot’s Projects and Tasks records.

    How it helps you
HubSpot Work probably isn’t ready to replace your project management tool just yet, but it is helpful for adding some organization to processes currently run by spreadsheets or nothing at all. I recommend beginning by selecting one of those processes to give HubSpot work a spin.

Two examples of a good starting point:

    • Launching a webinar where landing pages, content, and decks currently get coordinated over Slack and email.
    • Sales plans for named accounts, where AI drafts a plan document for each account from company records, deals, and transcripts, and a table tracks each plan’s status and last update.

Since you build everything by describing it, expect to spend your time refining by conversing with Breeze Assistant rather than configuring columns and settings by hand.

Notetaker now preps you for meetings, updates your CRM, and drafts follow-ups

What’s new: Notetaker with Smart Deal Progression builds on the deal progression updates we’ve covered in recent months and is now live. Before a meeting, reps get an at-a-glance view of deal scores, risks, buyer goals, recent activity, and pain points. After that, HubSpot suggests property updates, identifies action items, drafts a follow-up email, and writes a summary.

Transcripts can come from HubSpot’s Notetaker bot (video or in-person meetings), recorded calls, or an integrated video conferencing provider. That means it works even if you don’t use HubSpot’s Notetaker, as long as your Zoom or Teams transcripts and recordings are captured in the meeting record.

    How it helps you
Here’s how it plays out around a meeting:

    • Reps walk in prepared without digging through the deal record.
    • Suggested property updates can be reviewed and accepted instead of typed in by hand.
    • Action items convert to tasks with a click, and the follow-up email can be sent as is or edited.
    • A new follow-ups column can be added to deal, call, or meeting index views, so you can see suggested next steps across records.

Default properties and transcripts don’t cost anything. Credits are only used when you add custom properties to the suggested updates: 10 credits per property per transcript.

Marketing Studio: Rebuilt around insights instead of the canvas

What’s new: Marketing Studio was first announced at last year’s Inbound conference, and this version is less canvas-focused and more insight-driven. The overview now surfaces AI-driven insights and recommendations across your campaigns.

The canvas is still there for creating campaigns with Breeze and building automations, like nurture sequences, right next to your other campaign assets. The bigger change is reporting: cross-campaign ROI, conversion, and pipeline for both generated and influenced deals is visible as soon as you open Marketing Studio.

How it helps you: Campaigns tended to be a tool that teams either used heavily or not at all. If you’re in the second group, take this as your signal to start. Almost any marketing initiative fits, including:

    • Trade shows and events.
    • Product launches and gated content.
    • Webinars and quarterly lead generation.
    • Upsell, cross-sell, and re-engagement.

Describe a campaign goal, and Breeze builds the plan

What’s new: Campaign Agent lets you start from Marketing Studio’s “create with AI” option or from anywhere in Breeze Assistant. Describe your campaign or goal in plain language, and it walks you through questions, builds a plan, and suggests assets to create. You no longer need to start with a brief.

    How it helps you
There are two recommended ways to start:

    • With a goal, like generating a set number of leads by the end of the quarter with a webinar, and let the agent walk you through the strategy.
    • With planning notes, which can be a formal brief or a transcript from a team planning call, and let the agent flesh them out.

Campaign Agent itself doesn’t use credits, but if you approve automated creation of the assets it suggests, Content Agent creates them at 1,000 credits (about $10) per asset.

Nurture emails that tailor themselves to each contact at send time

What’s new: Nurture Agent changes the content of an automated email at the moment it sends, based on what HubSpot knows about that contact. There’s no prompting involved. It reads your email and personalizes wherever it finds a place to make the text more relevant.

You choose which properties and knowledge sources it draws from, preview the result for individual contacts, and lock any part of the email you don’t want altered, such as the subject line.

How it helps you: HubSpot’s testing shows the strongest conversion lift on nurture emails that are already performing fairly well, so start there instead of weaker email. It costs 10 credits (about $0.10) per email sent, so be mindful before turning it on for your high-volume automated emails.

Updates that didn’t make the main stage but deserve your attention

    Dashboards finally get collapsible sections

What’s new: You can now add titled sections to a dashboard, and each section collapses.

How it helps you: Until now, keeping a long dashboard organized meant dropping in text boxes as fake section headers. This does the same job natively, and you can collapse the sections you’re not looking at.

One report builder instead of two

What’s new: The custom report builder and the single-object report builder are now combined into one unified builder with a cleaner layout. You choose your objects, then the visualization, then the columns or axes, then your filters. Breeze can build or edit a report from inside the builder, and it doesn’t use credits. Note that attribution and funnel reports still use their own experience.

    How it helps you
You no longer have to decide which builder to open, or find out halfway through that the data you need is only available in the other one.

HubSpot can now flag customers who are drifting toward cancellation

What’s new: Churn Risk is a Buyer Intent signal designed for current customers, not prospects. It reads conversations, emails, calls, transcripts, and notes for warning signs like escalating tone, recurring unresolved issues, cancellation language, and budget pressure, then flags the risk and explains why.

    How it helps you
Like any Buyer Intent signal, you can act on it in a few places:

    • Trigger a workflow that notifies the CSM or company owner, with a branch to also alert a manager for larger accounts or the involved AE.
    • Feed it into customer health scoring if you have Service Hub Professional or higher, so what customers say in calls and emails affects the score alongside properties and usage events.

Personalized landing pages for specific companies and contacts, built by Breeze

What’s new: Targeted Pages lets you tell HubSpot which contacts and companies you want pages for, and Breeze generates a unique, editable landing page for each one, each with its own URL. Pages are built from HubSpot’s templates or your own, where you define which parts Breeze should personalize using what it knows about the record.

    How it helps you
A unique URL per page means you know exactly who’s seeing which version. A few places that fit:

    • Account-based campaigns and sales prospecting.
    • Post-meeting follow-up and event invites.
    • Expansion campaigns and one-to-one ads.
    • Partner marketing campaigns.

Pro tip: Save each URL in a HubSpot property so you can pull it into emails and sequences with personalization tokens.

What’s new: This is the SharePoint and OneDrive counterpart to the Google Drive app we covered in March. A new record card lets you link files and folders to a record and open them in an overlay without leaving HubSpot. New workflow actions let you automate file management too.

    How it helps you
A few ways to use it:

    • Attach a folder to each deal to hold discovery docs, contracts, and other deal files.
    • Upload sales docs from a HubSpot file property to a folder for handoffs to success or fulfillment teams.
    • Create a client folder automatically when a deal closes won and link it to the company record.
    • Link a customer folder to new tickets so reps can see past files right away.

Recorded meetings now live on the meeting record, which may break some workflows

What’s new: Meetings recorded with Notetaker or a video conferencing integration create both a call record and a meeting record. As of Aug. 31, 2026, only the meeting record is created, and the recording and transcript are stored on it.

    How it helps you
Activity counts get cleaner because the same conversation is no longer logged twice. The tradeoff is that anything built around the old behavior may need updating. It’s worth a quick audit:

    • Meeting-focused workflows triggered on calls with transcripts should now also be triggered on meetings.
    • Reports that track meetings through call records or reports with filters built to prevent double-counting may need adjustment.

Also ensure your team knows where recordings and transcripts went (the meeting record), since they won’t find them on the call index or call activity tab going forward.

Put a ceiling on marketing contacts so a tier upgrade never surprises you

What’s new: You can now set a maximum number of marketing contacts in Account & Billing. Once you reach it, HubSpot stops adding marketing contacts and alerts you.

    How it helps you
The instinct is to set the limit at your current tier, but more marketing contacts are usually a good sign, and a hard cap can stop a strong campaign in its tracks.

A better approach is setting the limit at the top of your next tier, which protects you from runaway costs while leaving room to grow. For example, Professional subscriptions step up in 5,000-contact bands, so if your current tier tops out at 12,000 contacts, set the limit at 17,000. Revisit it regularly.

Track Reddit ad performance alongside your other paid channels

What’s new: You can now connect Reddit as an ad channel in HubSpot’s ads tool, see its performance in the ads tool and in custom reports, and trigger workflows based on how people interact with your Reddit ads.

Ad creation isn’t included, so you’ll still build the ads in Reddit itself. This is separate from the Reddit social publishing tool we covered in April, and it joins the Microsoft Ads and ChatGPT ads integrations from July.

    How it helps you
Reddit results sit alongside your other channels rather than in a separate dashboard, so comparing what’s working requires only one view instead of two.

Final takeaways: Unbound 2026 product updates

Unbound 2026 had fewer surprises than usual, and more of what was announced is ready to use right away.

If you’re deciding where to focus first:

From the main stage: Agent Hub is where the value is, so check how complete your business context is before you build anything. For marketers, try campaigns in the new Marketing Studio, and be deliberate with credits: triggering Content Agent to generate assets from Campaign Agent and Nurture Agent both add up.

From everything else: Audit any workflows and reports that relied on call records for meeting transcripts, since that change is already live. Set a marketing contact limit before an unexpected tier upgrade finds you, and turn on Churn Risk to get a heads up and a chance to fix things before a customer leaves you.
