GDPR With Stars

Welcome to our new feature. As the May 25, 2018, deadline for compliance with the European Union’s General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) approaches, we’ll share updates on who is doing what right here.

FileCloud, a cloud-agnostic Enterprise File Sharing and Sync (EFSS) platform, has announced GDPR compliance support across Amazon AWS and Microsoft Azure. With the move, FileCloud says it will empower large organizations with an international presence to choose where to host their data.

AppsFlyer, mParticle, Braze (formerly Appboy) and Amplitude launched OpenGDPR,  a common framework for compliance with GDPR-mandated data subject rights. The OpenGDPR framework presents a public API specification, along with a recommended set of best practices for implementing and maintaining a connected and compliant stack.

Piwik Pro has released a GDPR Consent Manager. The enterprise marketing suite’s new tool will help clients automate part of collecting, processing and storing GDPR consents and data subject requests.
