This week we’re seeing quite a few executive hires, some interesting moves in the healthcare industry and news of expansions.  

Martech in Motion

PulsePoint acquires Vitality Ad Lab
The programmatic advertising platform said the move will bolster its commitment to evolving programmatic technology within the healthcare marketing ecosystem. The company says it will also expand the programmatic health advertising footprint in Europe.

Industry experts launch Metaforce
The group includes Allen Adamson, former chairman of Landor, and David Camp, former top marketing executive at Amazon, Microsoft and BlackBerry. The collaboration describes itself as a “disruptive boutique, marketing and product consultancy.”

Binary Fountain launches reputation management platform
Binary Review Manager is a platform for small and medium-sized businesses. The provider of patient feedback solutions says that the platform will provide SMBs with a time-saving way to monitor, grow, protect and manage their brands online.

MCC partners with Spotsee
The integrated marketing communications firm recently started working with SpotSee, a global Internet of Things (IoT) and connectivity platform. The Dallas-based company said that the partnership will accelerate and enhance the company’s brand recognition, as well as help SpotSee, a tracking network, break into new verticals.

Martech Movers

Branded Entertainment Network (BEN) hires Maria Teresa Hernandez as vice president of client development to lead multicultural business development. Hernandez was previously vice president of client strategy at Orion.

Fatima Khan joins Demandbase as its first chief privacy officer. Khan was most recently vice president of legal at Airpush.

Jennifer Chen joins Connatix as its first chief revenue officer. Chen was formerly vice president, general manager at Sizmek.

Motista adds analytics veteran Dave Cameron as vice president of analytics. Prior to joining Motista, he served as vice president of analytics at Target Data.

Slack appoints Allen Shim to the newly created position of chief financial officer for Slack. Shim has worked with the platform since the beginning and is a trusted advisor to the executive leadership team and board.

DeepIntent appoints two new executive hires, Chris Colella and Trent Emanuel. Colella joins the team as senior sales director; Emanuel will be senior programmatic strategist. The company says the additions will continue expansion of its New York healthcare division.

Eyeota adds Gil Barzilay as its vice president of global platforms. Barzilay joins Eyeota from Oracle Data Cloud, having previously held senior roles at Datalogix, Sizmek and Peer39.

SABRE Security Equipment Corporation hires Adam Friedman as new chief marketing officer. The pepper-spray company says they will utilize Friedman’s leadership and marketing expertise to continue product expansion.
