Google Glass is beginning to feel like eons ago. The Google Glass social accounts — Twitter, Instagram, and Google+ — have been confirmed to have shut down, 9to5Google reports. Twitter’s Google Glass page returns a 404, as does Instagram’s, and on Google+, the team has bid adieu to its fans and followers.

Hi Explorers, we’ve had a blast hanging out with you on G+ throughout the Explorer Program. From now on, if you have any questions about your Glass, you can get in touch with us here: https://support.google.com/glass/answer/3079854

This announcement, while disappointing for current Google Glass owners, is speculated to help in the transition for Glass away from the consumer focus and into the enterprise. Put simply, Google Glass is not dead, it’s just evolving.
